Naomi Hazlett, (she/they), OT Reg. (Ont.)

Naomi is an occupational therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. Her services include consultation, assessment, and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults who identify as neurodivergent or disabled and experience barriers to participation in meaningful activity. She can provide services in English and simple French virtually.
Naomi received my Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2017 and her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the University of Toronto in 2013. They completed additional non-degree studies in psychology with a focus on research in autism and gender. Naomi have worked in several settings in the community in Toronto and the GTA, including in vision loss, brain injury, mental health and with neurodiverse individuals. Naomi's ongoing professional education includes coursework in anxiety, cognitive-behavioral therapy, brief coaching, and brain injury. Naomi enjoys writing, exploring the outdoors, knitting, and reading. She also enjoys playing and running tabletop role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons! Naomi has been working at Dream Weavers since 2021. She enjoys getting to know each client and supporting their unique hopes and dreams with practical strategies. Naomi uses a strengths-based and reflective approach and incorporates a lens of critical disability studies as well as justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. |
