Thriving Through Change : A Life Skills Group
A Life Skills Group designed for young adults on the autism spectrum or with other developmental differences to explore and practice key skills needed for living on your own (or being more independent while living with others), and managing the many changes in our world.

Group themes include:
  • coping with stress and anxiety
  • creating a healthy sleep routine
  • staying (or becoming) physically active
  • managing time (creating structure to your days, being on time and keeping appointments, taking care of yourself)
  • healthy eating

This group will be offered online only at this time. There are a limited number of spots to ensure everyone can participate and get the most out of the group! An occupational therapist will be facilitating each session, and involvement of a social support (e.g. family member, friend) between groups is encouraged to increase practice of skills between weekly sessions.
